Though I must say, with this behaviour here, I think not, maybe will just ask them out for coffee so I don't have to meet funny people.

You should reflect on what you seek to achieve here. Frankly speaking, right now to me, you are behaving like the cat. You seem to just want to evoke a response. Sadly, you aren't getting much of one.

Just that, as in all matters that tend to the meritocratic side, there will be dissenders who view this as "elitist".

most "proper" photog have their ready portfolio anyway... it's just a first-cut filter for something we are planning.

That is true, though what the photographer like may not what is seen as best.

What I'm talking about is people complaining why they can't join a class.... How come they got money to pay but cannot go, why the class organizer so elitist and discriminate against what is perceived to be not-as-good photographer.

Unlike photography......for dance, it is very disruptive to the class when there are too wide standard of student.

Not for long, my patience is wearing thin. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt - perhaps that is being too naive.

Because many people thot holding a pro equipment is a master, in dance, if you can't follow in class, you will be lost and feel low moral......if got ah lian in class, they will jeer and tell you off......classroom is a very competitive place.......

that should not happen... I think I'll focus on the effort that was put into the portfolio... if sloppy... I just ask them to learn from our Pri 5 xmm here.

Anyway, things are still under discussion, not sure others will agree and implement.
