there's always next time... life is long.. if it's short, also not within your control. that's why i love singapore. if you miss the chance, you know you can make it back easily if you're patient for the right conditions. :)

LOL...

Yup.. at least we are aware of such a place, there's always next time.. Yeah, SG is indeed truly beautiful if you willing to fork out the time and mk the effort to explore further. i love Singapore too

that one need to play more.

i usually resize to 1500 pixels and go from there. for actual barrel distortion , nowadays photoshop cs5 corrects it very well, but still there will be vertical distortion tilting downwards, for that i still use liquify.

quite a number of my photos were corrected with liquify.. you have to do it smoothly in one motion, and practise makes perfect. more importantly, must look ok at 100%. no point having some websize thing that looks fine when your horizon looks like a snake 100%.

i think i screwed up a few liquify jobs before, but thankfully there are honest people like yapster who will highlight this to me when they see it.. i remember one particular london panorama from 8 - 9 10mm vertical frames of the lloyd's building... i spent nearly 6 hours on it because it had developed some form of fisheye... and so painful to correct. :bsmilie:
