Good morning peeps! As usual, nice composition and rich colours!

Weird that it resembles a favorite aircraft colour of mine... (only reversed!)

I agree with your point. However, I've never seen a Hornet in THAT kind of colours before... :bsmilie: So, either they must have been exercising artistic license or "copied" those colours from a different form of creature (e.g. Like your dragonfly)

wow... saw the nikon d7000's specs and review... seems impressive...

Its goooooot!
I got to play with it yesterday during the roadshow when Bryan Jean photog dropped by :D
At iso 3200 in semi darkness it was still very clean.
Not to mention the shutter click sound was really awesomely discreet.

Congrats! No easy feat! I started with a few well-known butterflies, and now I couldn't jump start the interest (for the moment)... So I kinda know how hard that is...

Very nice creatures! Btw, do you activate your GPS on the camera to prove that the images are taken from certain locations? I've always wondered how important is the GPS feature, I'm assuming this is one of the uses? I.e. to lay claim that a certain species were captured at a specific location and not elsewhere?

I don't do that, even if i got GPS tagging, i wouldn't want to disclose the location. :)

Many may try to challage to dig information on the location, i can't be bothered.

Ah yes, thanks for reminding me about protecting the location of the species and the species itself. Well, in that case GPS function will always remain disabled on mine. :)
