what you gonna SSS?

Fisheye 15mm f2.8, SD-8A battery pack, Kenko Pro 1 digital CPL, Manfrotto 055-DB and 488 RC2 tripod and ballhead, Gary Fong Universal Lightsphere & Lowepro Flipside 400 AW.

Then 35mm f2D when i got my hands on 35mm f1.4G.

And MH-21 battery charger if i got my hand on a D3 as backup body.

No sell, No buy. :bsmilie:

My 300 + 2x = 600mm is still too short. :)

Minimum is 500mm + 1.4xTC. The support system is more than S$2k

Unless you only happy to shoot record shots in the park and garden.

Do ask yourself why you wanted to go into birding, as now there are many people in CS rushing into it.

There is few things you might want to consider before jumping this bandwidth.

70-200mm is a multipurpose lens for me (many things to shoot, events, kid's school affairs, sports, landscaping, hopefully unsuspecting cats as well :bsmilie: ). Birding is an additional shoot if the range is sufficient (probably on the shorter end). At the moment probably not into serious birding (unless I managed to pick up the skill of composition, etc).

Wow, the support system is already 2K not including the lens?? Wait long long for me then... No, definitely not serious.

Andrew, after this trip, 2 of my friend was convince that they should invest in a gitzo tripod. :bsmilie:
:bsmilie: i also think i need to invest in a gitzo... just that now no money to buy already... how?:bsmilie: also can't bear to sell anything... just have to wait then...

Intention is probably bring kid along to Sungei Buloh... And see if can get lucky enough for closer ranges... More like a family outting.

Then 70-200mm + 2xTC will be fine. :)

The leica system should go. Break away from the JJ's Spell.

this one very pretty thoguh, i like. :)

It's getting a bit tough to do cityscape these days on weekends..

Went to somewhere near Collyer Quay trying to take a junction near CBD.

But didn't realise got some sort of a fun walk that pass the junction to walk around MBS...

Plus many many people with their "stationary 3 legged monsters" and "super built in flash" occupying the place.

Super sianz and U-turn back home..

And got a keeper, i suppose.
