I know about that lens, but I need good low light performance as well.... I'm thinking of getting a good one once and for all, and forget about long-zooms for a very long time.

Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8.... VR I Versus VR II... which would you choose? Leong? NNB? Andrew?

On Photozone.de, VRI has higher MTF overall...

no la... if using FF then get VRII lor... although VRI just as gd, vignette on FF, the 1 stop difference in VR i'm not sure whether justifiable for the price a not...
