It is still very common in Singapore, also got ppls setting up net to catch birds...... Every weekend you will see many Thai workers catch a few full bags of fishes to sell.

Sign.. think it mostly the work of those foreign workers, who dont really care and only do as they like.. i also saw before some chinese nationals lay net to catch fish at a Canal near the mangroove in AP.. so sad.. how to preserve wild life and nature .. I report them before, but by the time authorities take action, they are no longer there..

well, i think i will spend much on photography unless is replacement..

now and then i think of getting a 50-500 so that MAYBE can bird

then i think of the price - it's not so bad. but the weight, and the amount of time i will use it... and usefulness when trying to bring on holiday to shoot...

ok, out. this is how i haven't bought anything costing more than $100 lens wise for the past year. :bsmilie:

i think the only thing i might buy is new pentax body, if the latest one is indeed good. :lovegrin: but only if they resolve the @#$(*& long exposure NR problem.

hahaha.. me too, kept holidng back the crazy idea of acquiring a 200-400 or 300mm to go birding.. but since landscaping and bugs hunting take up so much of my precious weekends.. doubt wi;; have any time left for birding:sweatsm:
