oh, i think butterflies are doing the sweat thing for the same reason why they puddle. someone told me before. leong could correct me if i'm wrong, he definitely knows more than me for this aspect.
http://insects.about.com/od/butterfliesmoths/f/why_butterflies_puddle.htm
of course, there are some jokers that shout loudly about conservation, and rant about things involving butterflies, etc, and then they go and pour chilli in nature area to attract butterflies to puddle. i really think that introducing a manmade product like chilli into a natural environment where there was previously none doesn't sit right with me. nor should it with anyone else.
LOL, those butterflies love those joker deep deep lor, every other days got 100plus and pineapple juice also.....:bsmilie:
Preview of what you going to shoot tmr.......there are plenty of those there, so it good for practice.

Btw, please refrain from sharing the location, not been selfish, but more to protect the area. It is sad to see the place been flatten by groups of photographer going there week after week. One very good example is Ubin butterfly hill.
NNB, not to be rude, but hope that you don't share the info with your friends in CS too, i believe there will be ppls asking you for info.
Just for info, for my group i'm under, we will try not to revisit the place for months, to give the place a break.
Away for 8 days and come back to pages and pages of wonderful comments ....
When I was away all I could think of was Chicken Rice ...
Then thoughts of a certain Koala blurred my vision on how she consumed 3 plates after declaring *oohhh I am not hungry* hmmm Chicken Rice again anyONE :sweatsm:
Leong, after where I was in the USA, mosquito's would be more welcome than TICKS, Hornets and little creatures that inject venom when they bite, which dont kill you, but make you so sick that you wish you were dead .....
For those whom love butterflies, they would fly and land on you and start licking your skin. Will post some when I download from camera.
Good to be back ....
Cheers ...
For those interested to get the lastest dragonflies guide book, you can get it here.
