I forgot to mount it and left it sitting on top of my camera while I was
keeping another lens.
Then I picked up the camera thinking that my 50mm was already mounted and
it fell to the floor!
there goes my favorite lens.

Well, Canon 50mm f1.8 is very plasticky... and not the first report of it being broken... :sweat:
