Ya, just brought air ticket and book the hotel a few days before flying off, eat and sleep most of the time, don't really wallk around and shoot, and 95% of the time, just bring out the 24-70mm.

End next month going for another break before my work start busy.

so shiok i also want to go overseas :(

Well there are 2 local clubs here, where you can shoot both handguns and shotguns.

I have had my 2 custom built revolvers here, since 1990, when I come here for work from New Zealand. Since then I have bought what we term race gun, completely customised.

Here are some guns we shoot.

My present Open gun is the same as shown in the 1st picture, the 2nd picture was my old standard gun before I sold it, and the Open Revolver is mine also.

There are many many types of guns available to shoot. Also contrary to popular opinon, civilians can own handguns/rifles/shotguns in Singapore.

Cheers ....

Too expensive to own locally...

and limited models... :(

Not really limited in models.

In 9mm, you can buy Glock, CZ, Tangfoglio, Smith & Wesson, Sig Sauer, Sphinx.

Starting price estimated for 9mm depending on make would be $1000SGD. Again it comes back to what the person prefers.

For 9mm in our club, its mainly Glock 17 and CZ SP-01 (Shadow or Phantom), CZ-75/85.

In reality, photography is more expensive. 1DsMKIV is already more than the cost of my Open Gun, 7D would get you a Standard Gun, a 40/50D would get a Production Gun with money to spare ...

Its all relative I feel.

Cheers ....

i hope you're not talking about the writeup. :bsmilie:

that's a spoof.

Photo lah... the words are all crap to me hahahahahah Too darn lovey dovey for my taste :sticktong

Hmmmmm.... will think more about it. Thanks. :)

Yes correct, you must be a registered member of either Singapore Rifle Association, or Singapore Gun Club as a civilian to be able to own your gun, which will be kept at the range.

However there are some people however that can carry shotguns only in public, which is to do with Crow culling which comes under NEA program. But this program is not open to all and people must pass a strict selection criteria.

Info Here

IPSC.....that is more than a decade ago for me......

IPSC shooting has been active in Singapore since 1985.

I have been myself shooting IPSC here in Singapore since 1990, when my license was approved.

Cheers ....

Motorbike Taxi is very popular among office worker for short distance, like from train station to office or take a short ride to office after lunch hour.
