I lost a friend today. She got hit by taxi. killed on the spot at 4am while on her way to work.
She is an old lady who sells you tiao at Maxwell food centre... She smiled whenever she saw me... Her smile is no longer seen. But many remembers her as part of the food legend in chinatown.

but that is life. i guess as cruel as it sounds, everyone gets a fair deal , a lifetime.
i think, if she had lived out her life to the fulless when she had the choices.. then her memory should be cherished, and we should not be sad for her.

Well, I know her and family as a friend. Somehow, she only speaks hokkien to me. She walks with difficulty due to knee problems for some years. But she finaly had a break fron the routine rounds for past decades.
For every person we meet, we do not assume about tomorrow. Cherish every moment is best way to fill our memories into a kaleidascope of pleasant inages.
Btw, how come I transcend fr didi to uncle contaxable? How time flies!
