NM... IMHO, u should chill.

CS is intended to be an open forum.... even if the subforum is hidden from unregistered users... the directory will still be open.

furthermore... if things happen outside CS, it could have been from other sites that the model similarly posted.

if he had responded, fine enough; claiming that you have read when you have not, that is another matter

in any case, it is just a wish to see improvement, like i said when i started this, even a representative move would be good, not that i expect anything dramatic to be put in place, based on past record.

whether the admin/mod team want to make a statement as to where they stand, or wish to remain on the fence, that is up to them. i just hope they pick the right choice.

I understand... the case here is pretty similar to all worldwide... I wonder if you've been following criaglist/myspace..etc... things escalated to a much higher level.

It's still the model's prerogative and the long term solution is educating them, not setting limitation in CS and/or other mediums.

anyway, juz cautioning that it's getting too emotive, and easily misunderstood when (most) people glance through those threads... I think I'll hold my peace liao.

yes, i know what you mean, and i know you mean well..

anyways, i just thought that issue should be addressed,

it is very amusing to me when everyone in a PHOTOGRAPHERS' community will comment on models being bitches who whine to the press,

and then blame it on organisers

but no one has specifically started something on addressing and reflecting on our own actions. maybe not EVERYONE's actions, but at least the segment of people who call themselves photographers but are out for something else.

in every community, we can be all-inclusive, but yet keep out the unwanted unmentionables. that is what i hope will be done. in the long run, this will only serve to make clubsnap a much more safer place, and tehre can be less fear as to what is being done with photographs posted here.

Ya.....actually many ppls had tried before.....but most have given-up hope.....

I don't blamed CS, it is far too complex to address this problem.....

Even for relatively simple issue, like improve the photo standard in CS.....it proven so difficult.....so many good photographer had stop posting.......and so many smart-alex popping from nowhere, imparting all the wrong stuff......

i already stop visiting the macro section, it is not the photo take make me vomit blood, but it was the comments from those smart alex.

Now i'm telling myself, why should i teach them, they are "master" wat.

I don't expect CS to do anything, they are only creating a platform for us, if they control too tight, the membership and traffic will drop......then CS might become a boring place......then somewhere, a new forum will take over......and it will start all over again.

not really... the ip is useless unless you've got a court order to the ISP for release...

I wonder how many would go to that extent for such cases. :think:
