Dogs are lovely animals.

At one stage of my life, i was very close with dogs and cats.

when i was abroad, my friend brought me to greyhound. i had no clue whats its all about but was told its about gambling - which i never really like.

my friend bought the book and read up and place bets. he lost all of the time.

I didnt bet at all, feeling bored, halfway thru the game, I walked over to the glass showcase to view the dogs before each race. I looked into their eyes and i could tell the one who stood a high chance to win. The winning dog had eyes full of zest and spirit. i shared with my friend, he won, again and again and again... 1st prize

i stopped after 4 rounds as i said i was tired.

A few years later, i watched a documentary about greyhound. it sent a sharp spear into my spine watching it. The dogs were treated like dirt. If any dog kept losing for a period of time, they will gather these dogs at an empty farm area, dig a big hole, fire some rounds and kick them into the trench. They were not even given a last meal before death. They were made to race and if they fail, they die without a chance to prove themselves further.

From then on, that was the first and last time i go, and that includes horse gambling as well.

There is something about dog's eyes. They tell a tale. Sometimes happy, sometimes sad. But if you look deeper, you may feel its message for you.

So sad to heard that story......

Haven't been shooting cats for some time.
