I know. When I first started, I take a few weeks to shoot one roll, then go and develop only. No prints. No marnie. So take daddy's magnifying glass and STARE at negs using household flourescent light till can go blind, then finally go print 2 or 3 photos only.

Much later on, I got smart and bought film in 100 ft rolls and set up my own B&W darkroom. Much much cheaper per roll in the end - even for transparencies.

i more lucky.....maximum 1 week 1 roll.

film cost is $3.60, processing $2, $0.15 per print.....so is $11+ per roll....
