Well, servicing was also non-existant in the old days of Tithes, unless it's the OLD Adaptall lenses etc. Poor old man tech probably could not handle AF and digital lenses. Metz flash also gone case liao. I guess Tithes didn't keep up with the times, or were not willing to invest in the future and in the end they went under.
Hmm ... wide wide ... I guess one of the things a lot of folks look out for is symmetry and alignment with UWAs, besides how perspectives work out. (Hint: 2-way bubble level and grid lines)
Think of the frame as several diufferent parts, and allocate different weightages of subject matter to each section, and that will give you different emphasis. Just play around first. Knowing you Leong, it's very soon before you produce stunning FE shots!

Now still handheld all my shot, but will definity use my tripod and spirit bubble.
Yeah, doing the tripod and bubble thing would force you to stop and think a lot more than shooting offhand.
An alternative is to really scrutinise your VF before taking even ONE shot, and when you do, make it as perfect as possible. But this way is a lot more tiring because you're going hand-held.
Either way, it's an exercise in visual discipline till you get so used to 'seeing' the way your FE 'sees' that you don't need to put in as much deliberate consideration as before.
Actually, sounds like almost any other classic photographic discipline. :bsmilie:
Hey, try searching for 'Fisheye' or 'Fish Eye' on flickr and look around for good examples.
