A simple way to understand. X is 10. Any number they add before subtracts and any after adds. So,

9 = 10-1 = IX
11 = 10+1 = XI
19 = 10+9 = XIX (dont ask me why it isnt 10+1+10-1 - you can only use the 1 once ;p)
21 = 20+1 = XXI

my so-called upgrading at my block has finished and i dun see the difference except for the lift. so i hoot their feedback form inside out.

After the upgrading, waiting for the lift is a pain as everyone depended on ONE pathetic lift while they upgrade the rest. I hooted the form too (though my level need not pay for the upgrading )

Oh dear! By then u'll probably get even grouchier. A friend of mine had to move in with relatives when her home in Bishan was under upgrading. She works at night dealing with high investment so no room for error. According to her,she could not sleep even with ear plugs!

my father's an ATC (air traffic controller, is that what you're refering to?) and he sleep very strange hours. his shift hours are 'orrible.
