I think keeping the cash in your pocket is most useful and interesting. :bsmilie:

Ai ya... not I buy.. my Dad will buy...:bsmilie::bsmilie::bsmilie:

macro is more useful, fisheye lens more "wow" and "boomz" (good for winning photo contests)

Hi auntie Zaren, thanks... no la.. not for photo contest... just thinking to do something different next year..

Oh.. where to buy this Hitech ND 1.2 ?

Ok if for macro, is the Canon 100mm Macro good enough for flowers ?

TK photo selling the filter. :)

For flower, 100mm is good. :)

Since you are using 7D with 1.6x crop sensor.

100mm is equivent to 160mm in FF sensor, not far from the setup i'm using. :)

You are using a 160mm macro too ? Or the 200mm ?

In that case I also want a Dad. :bsmilie:

How do you find one?

So your Dad is so random?

You must be lucky. :bsmilie:

Ai ya... of course I am lucky to have a dad like him... even he don't know about photography, he will buy for me if I really need it and use it. All he wants is good result in anything i learn.

Which will be more useful... fish eye lens or a macro.. both are interesting..

Oh... I need a 4 stop ND but LEE only have the 0.9 which is 3 stop. So how ha???

It depends on what you shoot.

I have a fisheye, it is hardly used, because I want to use it effectively.

But it is very useful for the times you manage to use it effectively.

Why 4 stops?

I don't understand, you can just stop down one more stop with aperture most of the time... I think.

My first camera setup, a SLR and a zoom also brought by my dad. :)

Also sign me up for a course to learn darkroom.

Yes that is correct which is one stop difference. What I mean is I have a 10 stop and does not have a 4 stop.
Nowadays the weather is so gloomy and raining and 10 stop is too long... a 4 stop would be useful or maybe 3 stop...
