Shutter life depends on luck, if you based on rated, 7D should be 100K, not too bad.

I would place more emphasis on examining the body for corrosion of ports, drop marks, etc... As well as fungus on sensor (though probably not as common). These are all signs that the body has not been maintained properly, and maybe you don't mind cosmetics, but dropped electronics can already have inherent flaws which will only surface over the longer term.

6k considered low for a camera with 8fps, most pple will machine gun with it... Check for more important things like what edutilos said... I've had a 7D before, very gd camera
