If given the choice i will take ipad because i already got a laptop. Lol.

Please vote which is better and which you prefer and why:

01) ipad 2 (64gb 3G)

02) Macbook Air (11 inch)

It depends on your purpose.

For me, I don't really edit on the go. I always preferred desktops, more power, better screen available.. Macs tend to be too bright - if you print you'd know (at least in the past, some people say this has been resolved with Snow Leopard OS). I use whatever portable thing I have to read news, surf net, play games, watch movies. An iPad does that well enough, costs less and starts up immediately. Battery life also quite decent.

Btw, my opinion is that if you have an iPhone you can save your money and monthly subscription and avoid going for the 3G version... Just use your iPhone as a wireless hotspot and connect from there - also can't finish the 12 GB standard plan everytime one...

Ya lo.. don't know how also... but I think macbook air is also good because is a computer. Aiya.... ipad2 white one is so nice..

Macbook Air can do more, but iPad got apps lor.

Not only ipad. Laptop also can. So if outside no wireless@sg use your iphone tether to your laptop than you are good to go. =) but the laptop need to have itunes inside.

Not only ipad. Laptop also can. So if outside no wireless@sg use your iphone tether to your laptop than you are good to go. =) but the laptop need to have itunes inside.

One of the recent updates in OS allows you to use your iPhone as a Wireless Hotspot.

This means your phone becomes a wireless router through which you can use the 3G connection on your phone, and connect to it via Wi-fi using laptop/iPad to access ther Internet, don't need any tethering or iTunes.

But I admit, the Macbook 11" is very nice... And definitely more powerful than any iPad... But of course you can't do more than the iPad allows you to (within the limits of its power, anyways).
