Did I over burn the stem / veins? Some how still find it lack of punch :think:

Wow much better than mine many times!!!
What I did was to push up the levels / curves then the stems / veins will be bright and I just burn the stems / veins :embrass:
Can share what you've done?
Think auntie zaren is playing with the shadow/highlight.
But is that original colour of the leaf?
IIRC the original color is closer to my version
increase contrast, decrease gamma, decrease saturation, sharpen.
using irfanview,
contrast 69
gamma 0.3
saturation -122
sharpen
original colour definitely won't be "punchy".... need to have deep vivid colours for the punch.

I did try to make it punchy while trying to retain the original color but I some how makes it looks like "glowing" :bsmilie: :embrass:
