As Cyrn mentioned, lower and off to one side (such as the left) since the butterfly is facing towards the right.

And then, you'll want to kill off those shadows...

external flash time...

90mm Tamron...

can get nice nice bokeh liao

Maybe you should start off telling us what you like or dislike about it. :)

Learn to self-critque will help you in the field during the actual shoot.

I like the color and sharpness. Composition wise of course can improve but hard for this subject because it's very camera shy and hard to go near when i using raynox also. But really like this pic a lot.

The colour is out.......sharpness wise is ok, prefer more DoF.

Sharpness is not everything.....too many people love to comments on sharpness......but what is a photo about? sharpness??????

The composition is the most important factor, before photography, is painting.....and what make a good painting?

Why point down at this subject, this angle don't really able to show most details of this skipper.

Lighting wise, too much shadow hence the subject don't pop out.

PP wise, colour is out, slighting less contrast and brighter will be better, maybe because your monitor is not calibrated.

The dew on right in front of the skipper is distracting......clone it off.

Try looking at other people works, for butterflies, you can take reference on works shot by butterflies circles and go toward that direction.

btw, this skipper should be Lesser Dart. :)
