So for now i practice on flowers? Composition, exposure etc. Before moving on to critters?

Flower good for practice ma, it will not run away and got many specimen to choose from :bsmilie:

Maybe for a start you can try shooting flower with Subject in focus, clean back ground or uniformed coloured BG ie Green / Black.

Don't rush into firing away, identify the subject, study the surroundings and subject, take your time to compose.

People make those kind of uniform clean background is it they just take a piece of green/black card and hold it there as background?? I've seen someone do that earlier this morning but don't know whether is it the correct way to do it or not...

You can go along side.......but focus on your basic.

Also, look out of SG.

Train your eyes and adjust your perception of beauty.

Tonnes of better shooters on Flickr and other sites.

See how he create stories in a single frame using toys like LEGO figurine
