Actually wood can absorb vibration better than carbon fibre, metal is the worst. Therefore wooden tripod is more stable.![]()

Do you know that those wooden pile foundation in those pre-war house along geylang and joo chiat is still in good condition when dug up.
Wood and leather need to oil regularly, and they will last a life time.![]()
DIY shop sell more high end one, get from those shop that sell teak wood funiture.![]()
