dslr can have 15mm perspective, p&s cannot..

then must be more creative with the p&s...... 28mm still can make do for landscapes, esp with the fantastic amount of DOF in the tiny lens.... :bsmilie:

i cannot live without long exposures

but yar, there are times when p&s really advantageous..

i do building inspections from time to time, and i remember once i had my dslr and had to get some shots of the floor structure above the false ceiling. only access was through a tiny opening temporarily vacated by the ceiling light fixture, thk gdness had a p&s to squeeze through the small opening and get the necessary shots. :bsmilie:

yes.. also more portable.. much better for the times where you don't want to be so anal about composition , etc.. times with family etc..

less intimidating, too, sometimes.. it can really be a problem when people get all tensed up with what they perceive as a "pro" camera around.. even though it is just pinhole camera.
