Expose False Advertising and Broken Camera?

Hi people,

I would like to clarify this matter and sincerely feel that this might be a misunderstanding.

I had met up with the lady owner earlier this evening and thereafter bought the camera from her.

She called me up last night to explain this matter as she was uptight that it might lead to a further confusion. She also shared with me the actual incidents that has occured between both parties and it is consistent with what the thread starter has posted.

I personally tested the camera and the SD slot is actually in good working condition. I tried dislodging and inserted the SD card several times and so far did not face any issues. I have since brought the camera home and inserted my own SD card and it is working perfectly as well.

Also, she has printed the E-Warranty for me which i am very thankful and it does state that the camera is warrantied till March 2010 (with 3 months extra warranty by Nikon).

I am sure that there are malicious sellers out there trying to exploit on genuine buyers however for this case i think it might be a true misunderstanding and i believe that the account holder has no intention to cheat but merely trying to help out his personal friend.

Cheers

hahaha, one of the worst cover up stories.

For me, I always "play-safe" by rating something with have some minor scratches or dings, I'll rate it around 7 or 8.
Unless it is really good, w/o scratches or dings, then I rate it as 9 or 10.

I don't like to rate things MINT unless it's really new or only used once. ;)
