Actually, my intention are to capture some star trails. But since the wind are too strong and the stars are blocked by the fast moving clouds. Picture taken with ISO 100 at aperture f20 bulb mode and exposed for about 10minutes....my questions are:

1) since i am using ISO 100, why my picture still grainy?
2) in bulb mode, how to gauge the exposure time to get a crisp sharp picture?
3) any other comments??
hey bro, beautiful la

iso 100, if got shadow areas still will kena noise, unless the exposure is even everywhere.. can't help you with bulb mode, never used it before.. need a remote first.. :bsmilie:

nitpicking - don't really like the color palette, the orange is fine and dandy, but the greenish tones on the wood is really nagging at me

bulb mode. the mode labelled b on your camera dial. :) this simply allows you to set the aperture, iso.. and then the shutter stays open as long as you hold the shutter button.

Yeah exactly the point is you gotta hold it down for 10-mins direct. Surely there is a smarter way to do this?? Lol lost i am.
