Has been eyeing this stretch of land for quite a while already when always passing by to my office. So, yesterday landed my feet onto it. Knee-height grasses, some mozzi, alot of hoppers, crickets, bugs, and files. Yes, this place is just outside NTU, facing Pioneer North Road and along the PIE. Was very sure going to have many catch but to my dismay after about an hour of exploring the area, heavy rain came. Abandoned my bicyle and walked back home (luckily just 15 mins). Here are some common insects to share with you all. Thanks for viewing.

The JS looks very unique, definitely not common to me. :)
Great captures, all well executed!

great shots.

Nice series Vic. I like Pic #7 best.

Whats behind the JS in Pic #4, it looks like a slug to me? Thanks. :)

Thanks saywell, It's the JS body. Just refer to the 2nd image and you could see the long body.

Victor,
Good catch and shots you have. Saw # 3 bug in AP before.

Was this right next to the PIE? near the army bridge?

How come some shots were cut off, no space to step backwards and retake?

Nice series! Like your lighting :) ~ not like mine...

Thanks! David. Yes near the overhead bridge. Can join me next time. Yah, the insects were fast. Couldn't remove my Raynox fast enough for a full body shot for those bigger size insects.

Thanks! Jane. You can what.

Good series. I like  the JS.:thumbsup:
