Exchange D600 for D610

Tried that before on Nikon during the email exchange to Nikon Customer Services. Their response is that Lemon Law cannot be invoked from the user side, because the seller (Nikon Singapore) still deems the D600 as repairable. Only during the event when Nikon Singapore deems the product as beyond repair then the exchange and refund policy can kick into place, according to the order set out by Lemon Law.

If the oil issue is discovered within 6 months of purchase, will Nikon Singapore honour the defect even after 1 year of the warranty period?

Nikon replaced my shutter with a brand new one in November 2013 (when still under warranty), never had any oil problems since then leh... So why still need to demand to exchange D600 to D610??

Because you're not the only person owning a D600 and some people still get oil specs on their sensor after the shutter replacement.
