Thank you, Rendell. Not perfect, though. Too much hot pixels and over-exposure on the corners. My first attempt and I don't think I'm ever gonna do it again. Too laborious if you ask me. :)

i'm not sure about 13, actually. it seems to be just randomly thrown together. of course the bnw conversion is beautiful. maybe a case of wanting everything, wanting too much. sometimes, less is more.

14 is nice, but i suspect in the larger version you are going to get ghosting on the ship, which is a pity. not that it can be helped.

is it possible to go more to the right? i do find the buildings in the background a bit of a distraction.

oh, and for the top part of the mast, should be easy to remove the purple cast. ;)

Thanks for your insight on #13. I don't like it that much either. I feel that something's wrong with it but I don't know what.

And yea, you'll see a lot of ghosting on #14's original size. Not that it can be helped, as you've said. And thanks for noticing the distractions and the purple cast. Wish I could go back to that place and do the shot one more time. Everything you said was spot on. :)
