I believe high ISO films doesn't give you more noise, but it shows as more grainy because the silver halide particles are more coarse to be more sensitive.

which is why high iso film is called grain and not noise hahaha

It's not noise. It's the chemical grains which become more visible because to acheive higher sensitivity, the grain size has to increased.
