It takes courage to post (especially as a beginner), if you don't have kakis to type all the "very good", nice" posts etc.., and since you can take both good positive and negative comments, that's a good start.

thanks for the comments. both positives and negatives are encouraging. it is a way to know second opinion.

i didnt mind trying and definately will shoot her again soon. as beginner,didn't expect too much for the 1st try.

I'll tell you what I think. Your don't seem to have a grasp of the basics of photography, this visibly lacking from the shots you posted. If you do have it, the images you posted don't tell. When I showed my wife this thread, her comments were pretty much in line with what I was thinking of, you come across as someone who participated in the shoot for the wrong reasons.

In short, I question your motives right from the first post. From your other responses, I have doubts that you are even interested in photography.

I understand that each individual have their own opinions and there's different school of thoughts in how to point new/budding/aspiring photographers in the right direction.. But isnt the objective of this forum for friendly sharing of pics and exchange of objective comments?

Unfortunately, for now, this thread seems to have deviated from all the contructive purposes and goodwill of helpful photographers (be it gentle-worded encouragement or harsh criticism), into a mess of quarrels, disagreement and even bad blood between photographers not related to TS.

TS, be it positive or negative encouragement u've gotten, take them in ur stride and let them fuel ur passion to keep on improving ur shoots. Ur replies here will not help you in at all, so pls pls keep shooting and learn from eager peers who are keen to help you improve. I look forward to see your next sets of pics and let the result justifies..

Well if you shoot Bree and then post her photos here ........... you'd better be ready for some brick-bat................ she's like the ultimate CS fantasy figure .... (I have yet to meet her in person)


Anyhow, I believe that the TS is still in good form and that he will live to post more photos here. Man, you are brave!!

A better idea for TS is to remove the photos in 1st post, it's no point keeping them.
Try learn at least the basics before clicking the shuttle, which I reckon are easy to grasp for educated people.

As much as really agree that TS photos are below average images... Bree accepted and was paid (i assume so) for the shoot and TS has posted his "try" for C & C in the forum.

Some "Good models who deserve top quality photos" specify (highly subjectively) that they are only willing to work with "industry professionals". We may laugh at such statements but this shoot is a good example for some models to be afriad. Bree probably did not specify so and thus there is no reason to be defensive for a "good model". It all boils down to a model's attitude and aims in this line.

I have nothing to say to TS's photos, those photos lack feel and passion. It was like the model simply gives an expressionless look, which I believe every person would do that, even myself. Nothing special at all, seriously. I.E. U really have a lot to work on.

i thought this thread will eventually die off after i saw it 2weeks ago but to date its still going on :bsmilie: which sparks my curiousness to read again from page 1 to 5. At first i "thought" it was a "tfcd shoot" so dont really bother much on all the out of focus & point and shoot kind of composition which i think it "degrades" & does not justify the model well.

after so much negatives, the ts remain silent "ignoring" or should i say didnt notice post like sharing your equipments & settings for the shoot which makes me thinks that he doesnt want to improve but just to get more replies out of the thread.

i DO hope that if you really like photography, brush up your basics first before re-shoot bree otherwise you will be doing more injustice to her and i think she might be frighten off after seeing these kind of pictures unless you have other motives for shooting her like others had mentioned.

Guys (and ladies), it have been a while since the TS last post his shoot in this thread. Many have already share their views and comments in this thread. Whether good or bad, ultimately it's the TS's take on Bree.

Today is the first day of the Lunar New Year, which significant afresh start to most of us. I would suggest to give the TS a break in the spirit of the New Year.
