My budget $300 to $600
i am really a novice, knows nuts!
only have a 450D and the kit lens
Mostly for travel use, to capture anything, from human, objects to scenery....

18-55 IS and 17-55 IS?

whats the difference? especially the 18 and the 17?

since u already got ur kit lens, u can get a 55-250 ($350-$380?) plus a 50mm F1.8 ($120).

Hmm... are you referring to the Canon 18-55 IS + 55-250 IS or Canon 17-55 IS + 70-200 IS ? :dunno:

Just a thought the price of the Canon 17-55 IS would cost more than a new 450D... :think:

The Canon 17-55 F2.8 will cost a lot more than the 17-55 F3.5-5.6 kitlen.
