Try lifting the pillow and then click on the shaded area created by the pillow. I remembered that I picked up something there. Not sure what it was though...

Yup. Got the ring from there. What I can't seem to locate is the ring that's below the curtain.

Keep shaking the curtain. Open > close > open, repeatedly. I did that and then I saw it below it.

then the safe is within the wall

Found a screwdriver inside the safe.
