is it becoz S95 DNA is more like IXUS than Powershot?
Certainly from the lens specs, its way ahead of S95. max aperture of 4.9 on S95 on longest end of 105mm, vs Oly's 2.5 on 112. Almost 2 stops, i'm keen on this baby. & it has white color:heart:

wow, pretty good i must say. at first, thot it's just another hi end compact, but the IQ looks good even at 1600. maybe still early to say must see more pics then know. tks for sharing!

looks pretty clean, except the dof is not really there, but can't ask too much from a small sensor:bsmilie:

for everyday/casual use, I'm actually fine with LX5's DOF. so i think I'll be good with XZ-1's also considering the f1.8-2.5 range

you know me bro even I jump to the other camp I still love Oly. I was chatting with WongLP about me planning to buy a small compact from everyday use when not carrying the bulky dslr and he shown me this =) :heart::heart: I initially lookng at LX3/5 and S90/5 then this baby show up... oh yeah!
but the dilema is if this is price close to EPL1/2 lols

if EPL2 and XZ-1 price is very close i might go back to m4/3 lolz
when lx5 1st launched, price was 499usd, now got competition must drop lah...haha
electronics prices is always on the downhill, early adopters always lose in price game
from bhp website it's available from feb. if it's not available then in sgp, buy from usa lor, international warranty mah, must make use
but with shipping + gst, may be more exp than sgp? time to call ur fav retailer in sgp to check perhaps?:devil:Similar threads
