I think hk prices is best also and earlier than sgp. Abt 5k hkd if irrc from other forum. My colleague was in shanghai last week price also slightly better at 4300rmb (860sgd) but no sd card.

To add, sgd is very strong now so that's why probably the prices seems better else where.

i think @ 860 w/o SD card then probably its equivalent to Sg prices we have so far..

Haha. If u buy tv sure can bargain! Ya agree buy from shanghai not so good, hk should be better.

To add, sgd is very strong now so that's why probably the prices seems better else where.

That is especially true with the HKD sliding to 1:6.1 against SGD now. 6 years back it was 1:4.5!! But remember to compare against freebies if you are a first timer. SG deals can be quite good if you consider the package deals.

My brother paid HKD 4990 that comes with a few low end freebies like 4GB SD, tripod, screen protector.

AFAIK, Oly comes with worldwide warranty. U may not get the additional 3mths warranty as compared to buying locally but u'll still be getting the 12mths warranty.

Is the AF assist light on the EPL2? What I mean is that if I attach a FL36, does the EPL2 allow me to activate the AF assist lamp on the FL36?

that would be nice if they finally fixed it. or at least release a new flash that does AF assist on the PENs.

what I do with my E-P1 is i bought a led keychain... very handy when it's dark and need an "AF assist lamp" :bsmilie:

I have that LED keychain trick too, but its fiddly and I need to use my other hand for it and basically shoot one handed in low light. I mean its OK, but still...
I also used an iphone flashlight thingy....works too...but fiddly and u risk dropping your iphone.
