EP3 on sale now in Kuala Lumpur at RM3199 all in

will be launched tomorrow right?... hopefully px will be good here... but seriously doubt so...

Thanks to the internet.
We know how much our close neighbors price this camera at... :)

The EP3 price is RM3199+12mm lens is RM3099,=RM6298.
The Fuji X100 with 12mm lens (fixed, cannot be replaced) is RM3399, half the price. I had opportunity to compare: wow, the X100 is very sharp.
Waiting to try with EP3 12mm.

X100 is 23mm (35mm equivalent)

EP3 with 14-42 single lens kit is RM3199?
How can you compare the EP3 price with 14-42 AND 12 mm lens with the X100 price and say that the X100 is half the price? HAHA!!
And how did you determine that the X100 is very sharp?

in the USA they have the 17mm package at US$899.99 (~RM2700).
i think if you were to compare in that manner, the e-p3 is cheaper
and more versatile. don't you agree?

personally, i do not think the 12mm is for me. i will wait for the 25
1.4 panny-leica.

Travelling to Shanghai next week... can anyone recommend shops in Shanghai that is worth visiting for Oly gears?

Bought mine from Cathay at S$1,230. Body + the 14-42mm kit lens for my GF. I have some issues with the camera. Not sure whether its the lens or the camera. I took pic of my dog with it and the details of the coat totally cannot make it! Its blurry and seems to have a soft focus on it. Took picture of my GF's hair also produce the same result.

What is the ISO?

As what TMC said, what's the ISO, as well as your shutter speed, IS on, and aperture,it may be soft due to wide open or a bit of shake up and down or front back or both

If I rmb correctly. The pic was take. In room lit condition. Shutter speed is abt 5, aperture 5-6 and iso ard 600-800. The details of the surrounding is ok. Just that the coat of my dog can barely be seen. My dog is dead still. Cause he is sleeping. Haha.

Unless you are using a tripod, I seriously do not think you could have taken the shot handheld at 1/5s without any blurring whatsoever due to handshaking unless you have very good breathing and camera holding techniques.

Please keep discussion to 1 thread for your issue

1/5 shutter is too slow even for someone who can handhold well. In addition, even if u can, at 1/5 sec, the dog is still breathing right? So I would think that it is a user problem versus a camera problem.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. Manage to turn off the Noise reduction setting. The picture now seems fine.
