Rolex appreciates in value over time.......obviously when one buy expensive cam for one's hobby....losing money is a guaranteed certainty, as a tool for a pro, it's a matter of profitability.....cannot bear to the lost or not viable then don't buy...

Agreed. The camera is more tool than asset.
 

There have been reports that the Camera Armour is not very well-designed. There are various buttons that cant be reached and the most obvious is its a sucker for dust! Handphone users who use the "condom" should know that.
 

Firstly, I would like to thank all forum members for their time and effort taken to reply to this thread. Also very much appreciated is their expressed concern and advise given with regards to whether a camera should be used with a protective case or not.

However I would like to request for a moderator or admin to lock and if possible, delete this thead.
Not only has this discussion yielded replies of little usefullness to the collective knowledge of this forum, it has also went way off topic into discussions about analogies and nit picking about the value of watches and cars :)
