Is this it? Another modern shiny brightly painted compact like the nikon and sony camp.

Tech Specifications are as expected. I was hopping they would select a retro body like the the cannonet or their earlier rangefinders. Do you think they could be like olympus and fuji and launch other models with different bodies or will they follow the sony camp and have the same type of body for the series?

although not a fan of the body design, i'm liking the fact that I'm able to use EF lenses with all functions with the adapter.

AF speed, especially with EF/EF-S lenses using adaptor is still a big question mark. Would also be good for Canon to give some info on the roadmap for the native EF-M lenses. Apart from existing Canon DSLR users with lots of Canon glass, the m4/3 system still seems more compelling. Well, looks aside, so far so good for the EOS M.

read AF is slow and image capture is slow. so have to wait wait wait.

Just popped into TK. Stock is not in yet. Pricing also unknown. Haizzz. Really wanted to fiddle with it.

anyway it sucks.

both canon and nikon design.

the in thing now should be retro. they should fire the designers and look at OM-D and Fuji Xpro1 for insipiration.
