If 7D is as the leaked specs and pictures suggest, and at less than 2.5k SGD, once announced you will see a flood of 40D and 50Ds being dumped on Buy Sell liao at lelong pricing. :sweat:

single digit 1.6x crop body?!

what the hell is canon thinking when almost every other brand has a full frame DSLR, hence, making FF a common place.

instead, canon should be thinking on how to make FF cheaper, instead of making crap 1.6x bodies!

I love Canon for making a distinction for FF, now at least I can buy a good 1.6x bodies!!! Finally I can get an almost pro class 1.6x and a 1.3 or FF 1Ds pro body for events!:lovegrin: Thanks Canon!

It should not be close..but far better!:bsmilie: I believe this is a whole new CMOS sensor that Canon has created, and hopefully it has better noise control. This sensor has the highest pixel density compared to the 1DsM3, so for Macro, it should gives lots of details....can't wait to see how it performs with the new 100mm F2.8L with IS.....a dream Macro machine too! Wow...I am excited! Thank God I did not commit to the 180mm F3.5L

Why feel sad? If they can sell a camera away in anticipation for the latest, they didn't need a camera to begin with.
