Hi Jennyfur,

Yes, i did increase sharpness and did processing on all my photos.
This is shot with better lighting and lower ISO.

The bokeh on this photo is not that great (to my eye). Which lens did you use? The bird however is shot very well... great colours, nice contrast and sharpness is just right.

Hi bro,

Hi bro,

Wow... that is a good lens. Perhaps the shot was taken from far away or a small aperture was used causing the less than smooth bokeh. Regardless, the bird came out very well.

Yea, I had the UV filter on... =(

Yup it was done with the EFS 10-22

Suggest to remove the filter for night shots with direct lighting. For a sharper image, set your aperture between f8-11 (thats the sweet spot for my copy). Usually, I adjust to the point of infinity to have both the foreground and background in focus.

Its great that I do not see much noise in the pictures :).

Thanks for the advice! May I ask what is ISO that u usually use and also how many seconds is the exposure?

iso 100..99% of the time for landscapes.

Based on your first sample, i estimate to be about 15-20 secs at f11 or maybe less with the direct moonlight. You would need a tripod for long exposures. The 10-22 is capable of very sharp shots.

I think I was using ISO 100 too. Was at F8 and varying between the exposure time.

was using a tripod. Will read up more...learning curve is steep for me =(

Hi,

is there a marked difference between the 60d and 70d for noise control? Or for that matter with digic 4 processors dslrs.

Have searched online but couldn't come to anything conclusive yet.

Which Kit is most worth to get along with 70D? I'm choosing between Kit 2 and 3.

No significant difference. The DIGIC processors may make a difference for jpeg, but I won't be able to tell since I only use RAW. You may want to take a look here and compare 70D against 700D whose output is similar, if not identical to 60D.

Thank you for the advise. I shoot mostly jpegs with some video occasionally. My current set up is 60d with 18-135mm non stm and quite happy with it for still photos. Video wise almost good if not for the focusing sounds when it starts hunting.

Probably good time to change to the 70D now. Thanks!

it cost, $1390 for body only... made wether alum or plastic i not sure. but it is good quality body....
