Quick question.

My friend bought the 5DmkII in Singapore. After a few days of using it, it hung i.e. power is on.. after taking a few pictures, power remained on but all buttons are non-functional.

He brought it back to the shop who replaced it for him.

Now, it is working fine BUT the "sound" of the shutter is muted compared to the very first camera.

Short of meeting up to compare how the shutter sounds, can anyone comment on this?

Hi,
Something to consult you owners. In the video mode, does image stabilizer in lens work? On still image, IS works only when you focus, however in video mode, there is no autofocus, so how does the stabilization work?

One of the sales person from Alan Foto Funan tell me that this camera has its own image stabilizer mode, is that true? I have not seen that in any reviews / specifications.
