Yea you are right... Yesterday I was at Canon Link, and saw the local version. The USB connector is on the camera body, not the lens.

Will be kind of fat and awkward for some cramped USB ports.

tell u guys my tragedy ....

got my 5dmkII a month ago already went to service center to clean my sensor (due to dust) tiwice. am i the unlucky one?

TWICE within a month? YES, TWICE within a month.

I own Olympus previously, using it for nearly 2 years, i NEVER encounter any dust problem. But after change to Canon ... sianz... and, they charge me SGD21.40 !! wtf !! sensor need charge de meh? Still remember my very 1st dslr, Nikon D80, i bought it in US, send to local service center to clean sensor, they dun even charge me a single cents, n took me just 10 mins, where Canon took me half n hour.

btw, a stupid question, how do u guys change lens? maybe i change my lens in incorrect way?

i really piss off already, if still get dust, i will sell it away n use back my worth trusty E3.

If you have been using other cameras and don't have this problem, it might not be your lens changing method...

perhaps your 5DII sensor cleaning mechanism is not working? Did you ask CSC to check that while you are cleaning the sensor? Checking within warranty period if FOC.

I have around 1k+ shots so far on the camera. From the way I am using the camera, it usually reach around 350+ when there is about 15% left. However, I am leaving the camera on and let it timeout by itself (1 min.) and I have the shooting information displayed on the LCD all the time when shooting. Also, as a new camera, I tried out a lot of functions without pressing the shutter so the experience I have might not be indicative of the actual real life situation yet.

According to the Batt Info, it drains out at an average of 800+ shots. I mainly use 24-105 but didn't really observe on the use of the IS which does affect the no. of shots.

When video recording is used (for at least 2-3 files @ 4 mins), it seems 460+ is about all the batt can take.

Full day shooting, no video, normal review of 2 secs, for maybe 1 out of every 5 shots.

780 shots, battery still had some juice left, 1 bar + worth on the indicator.

No video, normal review of 8sec and time out of 1min. 650 shots with about 48% juice left.
