Presently there are only 2 options (some shop offers more).....

Body & Kit I.

Kit II will be out in Mid May I think.

after using the 450D kit lens, and using my collection of much better lens .. i really start to know why ppl say lens are so important... the photo was so obvious with a good lens despite still using the same body

so to those new buyers.. maybe u can consider getting a used 450D (or anything cheaper) and with the money saved, but a better lens then the kid 18-55mm ...

unless u really want the video and the good LCD screen la..

Just a quick one, can 500D support AF during video filming? If i buy a 580 EX II, can 500D controls the flash wirelessly, or must i buy a transmitter to trigger the flash?

regarding the flash part. u need a ST-E2 flash transmitter.

For a newbie like me, learning how to take good picture and photo opportunities are more important to me now. No point for me to take "sharper crap picture" if I can't compose and get the settings right for my shots

There is a thread discussing about 18-200mm lens.

Parisilk told me 500D KitII will be out 1st week May when KitI was launch.

Waited till now, still not out.

Called MS boss, she said will be out Mid June....

dont go buy anything expensive.. HDMI cable are digital, so in theory either it works of not... its pretty much no different btw a $200 one and a $35 one except that the build quality.. but so far very seldom (actually never) u hear a cheaper cable spoil

if u want one that looks good and still pretty cheap, logitech has one (PC show sells for $25, normally in store now $39)
