EOS 30D price

Hi all,after hearing much debate,i've decided to get a EOS 30D even though 40D is looming around the corner.Question is how much can i get it for along with the lens kit? Last time i saw was at vivocity,selling at 2200++. Maybe you guys know a better price,30D looks to be a solid camera and something i can use for my friends weddings or special occasions for some extra pocket money hehe.I'm expecting to invest in this camera for at least the next three to four years because even if the 40D comes out,rumour has it it'll be 12 megapix? Really something which does not matter to an amateur like me. So hope you guys can quote me some shops which are honest and give decent prices. Thanks

Last I checked it was less than 1,900 incl GST

And under 1,600 in HK.

thought about a 5D? I got my 30D back in September of last year, paid 2000 for it (just body). SG price now should be around 2K if not less. If can spare a little more, get 5D.

FF is not all about the body. If the TS gets 5D, he has to think about lenses good enough to pair with the 5D. FF reveals every hidden detail about your lenses' IQ, from vignetting to resolving power. Some cheaper lenses just might not do.
