Did you try Tan Union in People's Park? Stock for this camera is very limited. I was told that there was only 7 sets coming in. Dunno if this is true, and don't know why. Whatever it is, i felt as though i hit jackpot when i found mine for that price. :bigeyes:

Do u have the number ? add too ... i will call them to check it out...
You brougth it for 1750 (inc GST), am i correct ? Do u check the base of the camera for the Body number ? Is there any print " Made in Japan" ?
How many warranty card u have inside the box ? 1 or 2 ?

just returned from Tan Union, the quoted price of 1750 is not inclusive of 4% GST, unless the sales didn't like my face and wants to charge me more.....initially he quoted me $1999! then he see my eyes as big as apple and changed the qoute to $1750............

Got mine about 1 week ago from Tan Union in People's Park. 300D kit (ie.w/lens):$1750+GST.

And yes...for those who are wondering, it's made in Japan and the kit is complete. Nothing missing. Just a word of advice: Get the camera and that's it. I think i can't make it any clearer.
