Looking for a full-time photographer's assistant to assist a well-established commercial photographer.
This is not just a job, but an opportunity to establish your career as a future photographer. Therefore, you will be passionate about photography, very willing to learn (photographer is keen to help you develop your career), focused and dedicated, but not too proud to carry some gear.
Duties:
Do anything and everything to support the effectiveness and efficiency of the photographer.
This could be anything including, but not limited to the following:
Carry bags.
Set-up lights.
Process images in Photoshop.
Deliver disks.
Maintain studio.
Manage phone calls.
Basic paperwork.
Some menial and incredible boring chores too!
Requirements:
You must have Photoshop experience - you don't have to be an expert, just proficient.
Ability to listen and follow instructions.
Self-starter - wallflowers not required.
Adaptability.
English speaking.
Have some potential (preference given to applicants with a portfolio - it shows you are serious and proactive about making this a career).
Must be full-time and willing to work on weekends when required. Five working days per week.
SGD$1,700 per month.
