ah... dunno man. back at my time, there were guys who shaved their heads b4 going in... and when the sgts saw them, they were singled out for a 'special' shave by the tekong barbers... :sweat:

jus let the barber there cut loh. They r quite pro actually. Botak no matter how bad still look like botak. At most wear cap when u outside. TT is wat most pple do.

up to you.... just shave nothing wrong in doing so.. the barber will also cut your hair short too save the waiting time for haircut when u can get other thing done... trust me... ur very 1st day... so much thing to do..

My advice, dun cut before entry

There isn't really time savings. Coz you are now required to move and act as a group. It is likely that others are having the cut and you have to wait for your team mate.

Having the hair cut together and laughing it off, helps to build your team spirts (esprit something lah).

2yrs, short lah. Furthermore, doing NS now is like holiday camp as compared to my days years ago....

Then for your 2nd haircut i remember what my platoon sergt said to us no need to cut like first time so short, just make sure noone can pull ur hair then u r safe!

Tekong is a very nice place now like holiday camp just remember what u went through is much more less 'siong' then our time just endure and everything will be over.
