thanks tayzhong! in fact i have a set in b&w... but thought my wide-angle range of the lens not wide enough so the effect not as good as i would like them to be... but when i have time to upload, will post here as well to see, some of you may like them.

ha ha, end of month i will be in Sanya, Hainan with my wife taking "wedding" photos which I did not take when I got married many years back... ha ha... checked with the photographer that he is using exactly the same gears as I do... so I plan to get a wide-angle lens to bring there and would probably take some shots of my wife myself using super-wide for some different feelings.

hopefully we will cross path soon! who knows! yeah... she got so excited... been nagging me for not having the wedding photos for years.... ha ha... someone told me to self-shoot for wedding photos... a year back i saw someone did that in China in one of the forums, quite amazing too! but couldn't find the thread liao...

本來在上一個作品發佈之前有過一個黑白版本，因爲自己總覺得不好看所以改回原來的彩色版。今天再次嘗試保留新娘的顔色但將飽和度降低，再將其餘部份作黑白處理，另外也加强四周黑色邊緣來强化視覺集中力。出來的效果自己覺得比純黑白來得好，那種出嫁前不捨的味道也來得比較濃郁，所以再發一個版本。

As I had mentioned earlier in the thread that in fact I did have a set of black and white version, but found them not too nice so I reverted back to the colour version to begin with. So, I have had another go with the photos (plus a couple more which was originally left out in the colour version). But this time I decided to retain the color of the bride and only desaturate somewhat while turning the rest of the frame in to black & white, and also increased the strength of vignetting to further increase the visual focus on to the bride. Personally found that turn out to be nicer than the very first batch of pure black & white version. it gave me a touch of the feeling of unease in the morning of the BIG DAY --- turning in to someone's wife in a few minutes and leaving parents to lead a married life...

Black borders is definetly better, it will also enhance your vignetting effect to really focus on your subject
