Perhaps one area that has not been covered is in the area of workers' rights. Unfortunately as a byproduct of history, gone are the days of the disruptive and adversorial labour unions in the post war years (a result of Communist infiltration). The position of the labour movement has been weakened over the years and pretty much neutralised today, no guesses by whom. Little or no strikes to speak off in recent history (maybe airline pilots?). So for the average Singapore worker, you're pretty much on your own.
