Emotional Baptism Pics

In other areas where a person accept a belief or faith, a kind of restoration to the self is being performed usually and accordingly it should be done when that person has his or her own mind to want to be saved. However and surprisingly even babies are given such a performance and thus leaving something questionable.

Here are more answers to the act

Yes, this is something I totally agree. And that is why in my church, only adults are baptised and children are dedicated to the congregation (to look out for them) instead. But this is a photography forum, not a religious one and let's not bring the discussions towards that direction. We can discuss religion when we have a chance to meet up with one another in person ok? Thank you for your cooperation. Cheers.

microcosm bro, now you're recognised as a poet!

That is very nice.

With an introduction like that, the potential for the photos to fall short is just so great.

It's a good thing they didn't!

Good shots.

Wow. What a compliment. Many many thanks.

Nice shot! Thank God for his step of faith! Did he go underwater too?Any shots of that? Lovely baptism pool btw...which church is this?=)

The shot was not very flattering... so I decided not to post the picture. Respecting the subject, I hope you understand. The church is called Church of Joy. A small family church.

Nice, emotional indeed ! He has seen the light ...

Never saw an adult baptized, though, only hundreds of babies :)

Yes, I am glad that people are finding their way.

Really? Well, let's not go too much off track from a photography forum into discussions about faith and religion. Shall keep that for meet up and kopi sessions. Cheers.

Thank you. I was surprised by the show of emotions when this kid was baptised.

Thank you for sharing the photo. Reminded me of my own 7 years ago... sometimes it so easy to forget our 1st love as we rush through our mundane life daily. Yes. he was touched; a feeling that have flee from me for the past few years...

Din see this. :sweatsm:

My only gripe is with the first photo... The water droplet near his nose looks like snot, which is not too flattering. Other than that, #3 is my fave.

It is snot... and this is not meant to be flattering. Cheers.

I am glad the shot served its purpose to remind us all.

No worries. I did not want to bring the discussions into what is right and wrong in the baptism. The purpose was to bring back emotions to those who sees this and remember who is first love. But I didn't want to let this become "what is baptism" discussion. Hope everyone can understand. Sorry. Many thanks.

can feel the emotion there...esp in pic 1. nice work. :)

free slimming course !

Doesn't work for everyone though.

I like #3 but if crop a bit more from the bottom to get rid of the distracting hand at bottom left corner... it would be even better... :)

Thank you. Having a good subject helps loads.

Its ok bro. As long as it is healthy, non controversial OT, it is very good actually... ask Sion and night86mare... they are the masters of OT... I have to sign up for a course with them soon and then travel to Middle East... their brand of OT can stop the war...

Example -
BUSH : "We must send more troops to Iraq to liberate the people".
N86M : "The mutton on the 5th street where last night's carbomb went off helped add to the flavour, its very good, you must try POTUS!"
BUSH : ". . . . . . "
SION : "The camouflage uniform of the troops are actually very practical, they steal the mutton and no one will know!"
RICE : "Let's send the troops home".

WAR ENDS...

Something for me to consider. Thanks for the suggestion. Maybe if you like, you can crop the image and repost it here. I am ok with that. Cheers.

I'm sincerely practising the art of OT...
