Final Update

My apologies to everyone for the late update, I was tied up with chngpe01, Fred and s_wrx over at the venue for the 2nd session (lunch/workshop). We were preparing the place for the event this afternoon.

For those who are taking the transportation to the birdpark, please meet by 8am at Boon Lay MRT station control. I, Larry and other CS members will be there to liaise the transport.

For those who are driving to the birdpark on your own, please meet outside the birdpark (the gate along the road) by 8:30am. chngpe01 and other CS members will be there to liaise with you.

That's about all, cya all tomorrow! :)
 

The workshop has been a SUCCESS! ;) It was wonderful meeting everyone and we had great fun!

Now the participants are safely on their way home. Will be looking forward to your shots, y'all! ;p

Thanks very much to s_wrx, Avatar and especially the volunteers who shared with the rest of us the finer aspects of bird photography and the use of long lenses.

Already looking forward to the next outing !

Thanks to Avatar for his loan of his D2H and Harlequin for his D2H + 600/4 and also the other helpers like Fred, Michelle and PE. Not forgetting our 'lens-hood hero' - Garion as well ;)

I certainly enjoyed the session and learned many things as well. Total nOoB enjoying myself. :) Looking forward to the next Nikon + Clubsnap collaboration again.

How about having more D2H and SB-800s this time? Heehee...

I am pleased to be a part of this event.

Did anyone notice that JBP is equally a success? (No doubt, there are rooms for further improvements ;) ) For one thing, I am actually seeing various species of birds breeding within JBP! These birds are adapting very well here. That in itself is another good reason to cheer about!

Those chesnut bee-eaters looks fat and full of energy. Well its time for us to go JBP during the low season.

Really an eye opener! Thanks to the organisers and volunteers for the equipments and valuable advices... too bad can't join the afternoon session. wonder who got the best shot. Looking forward to more similar event. Thanks!
 

a personal 'thank you' for the organisers and volunteers who made the event possible. pity the volunteers who had to carry the 'canons' around JBP, wish they had provided trolleys for you ;)

it was a very fruitful workshop for me as i did pick up many tips from Harlequin - :thumbsup: and it's also good to meet fellow clubsnappers.

will be looking forward to more workshops from Clubsnap and nikon!
